I could be because they have alot of people still oversea's. When I first got t oandrews we worked a couple of 36 on 12 off shifts to cover for the deployed people. So that could be one of the problems but i'm not sure.

Generally when Andrews transmits the working fire dispatch, a recall is automatically done to backfill incase of another emergency, or additional assistance to the scene.

Thats cool But why couldn't you call for Mutual Aid to asssist or to transfer in? Hum 25 is at the VA gate, 27 at the main gate and 23 at the North gate. 74 plays in PG why couldn't PG play at 74 all three stations have military members there Just a thought.

Most Fed departments have a mandatory recall due to a working incident. Please keep in mind that mut aid is good for both sides but due to secret requirements mut aid compaines don't in most cases have full acess to secure areas. The people assigned to those Fed Departments are more familiar with those said areas. If another working incident were to occur trust me the mut aid would be called for.

I believe the idea is if the mutual aid companies crossed the line surrounding a certain hanger there would be hell to pay. Even if it was on a working incident (or two). Nobody gets near that hanger that doesn't have the right clearance.

Right on!!! Even in a working emergency clearence via a runway or such must come from the tower and if you fail to request such hell hath no fury for waht you are about to endure.

You know, in oppinion its pretty bogus as to why mutual aid isnt requested more, even for station coverage on a HOUSE FIRE. But due to the heightened threat conditions it can be pretty difficult. In a perfect world mutual aid would be automatic. Dont think that it doesnt happen, I have seen it a few times!

Ohh i have seen it and done it, but still I guess it also goes back to the higher staff who picks and chooses what calls you can run in to P G right?

Not sure how to do this yet, but just wanted to ask if anybody knew for sure if Rulapaugh was coming back. If so when. I was there when he was, and know that this sh!t wouldn't be happening if 40B was back in the picture.

When a working fire call is put out, they dispatch both engines, the squad, and the tower. For on base calls a crash crew x-mans the tower. For this particular call, Foam 2 or Foam 5 crew responded with the tower which left one crash truck out of service. The recall of military personnel was to get a 3 man crew back on that crash truck. If this turned out to be anything big, believe me, mutual aid would have been utilized from PGFD. As most of you know, any fires on Andrews are most times very small, put out by the resident/occupant, or just need a water can. We need to stop teaching these people how to put out fires. Later

Hey all. I heard that they have taken away your ability to look at the watchdesk while at work. That was nice of them. Sounds like they are taking their Powers to far, I mean power. So has any one been over to that gay ass Parks I mean park at the base lake.
I just have one question, and that is did the new chief get a bigger desk, because there is no way that BP could have fit his fat arse under the old one. And you know damn well that he didn't deserve that promotion over RH, CM, RO, and the likes. But hey maybe they made him a white shirt so CP's overshot splooge stains wouldn't show up as much. :D You never know.

See we have the squad 74 transfer to the Big 27 the other day. Did yall run any calls while you were there or did communications just send you there so they could say they had a squad fill in at 27?
