Hey...

By now you have heard about the horrible damage that has been caused in Southwestern Florida by Hurricane Charlie.

- What you also may know is that several fire stations have been destroyed or seriously damaged.
- What you may also know is that the storm has left thousands of civilians homeless.
- What you may not know is that numerous FIREFIGHTERS and their FAMILIES homeless-or with seriously damaged homes.

If you want to help and are able to help the FIREFIGHTERS and their immediate families, please use the "point" station information below as they are coordinating these efforts. According to Braden River FD (in Manatee County) Fire Marshal Henry Sheffield and IAFF Local 4074 President Stacey Bailey, these firefighters need some serious assistance-and no one understands that need better than we do.
