Just wondering if anyone else found it to be a coincidence that Tom Ridge is the former Gov. of Pennsylvania, and they seem to be getting the lions share of the FEMA Grant allocations?

I dont know if it is a coincidence or not; but it is interesting just the same. Some startling stats. on this one.

As reported by firehouse.com the following states have recieved the following number of grants for 2004:

California 57
Florida 22
New York 98
Maine 28

Pennsylvania 125

I hope it is just a coincidence. Yes the money is needed by all, and I would hope that it would be distributed fairly and evenly. But, this does make you think.

Oh yeah, a big conspiracy. So why not the battle states of Ohio, & Florida? I guess the GOP packed the peer review roles with their faithful. Do you really believe that?

Now come on. No one is saying that yes it is a conspiracy. I believe it was an onbservation that was made. Can you say for certain that it is truley a coincidence? Are you a member of the peer review? If you are then I apologize and have a few questions for you. Isnt it the least bit intriguing, the small possibility that something could happen like that? I will tell ya after reading the first few sections of the 9/11 Commission Report it wouldn't be a bit of a surprise to me.

In my previous posts is listed some numbers of states recieveing grants. Lets see how many requests were made for 2004 by those states.

PA 1778

Now lets take a look at the dollar figure that has been awarded.

CA $5,979,262
FL $1,901,927
NY $7,328,575
ME $2,570,635
PA $11,035,993

And yes the state of pennsylvania has recieved the higest number of grants and the highest dollar amount. Thats out of all the states/territories that have applied for grants in 2004. The flip side is they have the most requests for grants also.

The stats dont lie. The theories behind it all is up to the imagination.

And Yes I may believe that it is a conspiracy. Because after all there is a reason for everything. So if thats a problem with some.........thats just too fu**ing bad!
