Everyone be sure to bring in your life jackets or inflatable boats after Sept 30th. If you thought the ship was sinking before, it is sure to sink to the bottom of the severn river real soon.

Education, knowledge, certifications, and common sense mean nothing under the new Empire.

Asst. Chief Jackson,

Is this you and is the ship sinking because they are not making you Acting Fire Chief  My only question is how does a ship sink when its already on the ocean floor upside down.

:D To XMAS whoever you are, first off firestriker is not Chief Jackson and we all know that the ship sunk a long time ago..

Get your facts straight before you start naming names on the watchdesk.

firestriker is The Big "C". Also to give you an update, Rumor has it that Willie is going to slide right into Haps slot when he retires, cause of the intervening grade issue. Willie also said that little brother is getting one of the Captains position's.

QUESTION 1 Won't Haps vacancy have to be announced competitive when he retires ? How can a person slide right into a position ?

QUESTION 2 How can a Captains position be promised ? This sounds smack of pre-selection, and nepotism !

stay safe

Pumper 46,
Fire Strike is Big C

Fire Striker is ?

Willie getting Haps job, think again there are Chiefs and A/C's in the region that will be relocated to fill that spot. You might want to check with Willie, he seems to be happy on Day work.

Eric getting the Captain's Job - I think the job goes out to the region and Chief Stillwell is the selecting official.

"Being promoted to Chief around this place is like being promoted to Captain of the Titanic, AFTER it hit the iceberg"

What is the difference between the national capitol region fire department and the Titantic?

They know how many people went down on the Titantic.

What are we doing, Mommy?

We're just waiting, dear. When they finish putting the first class people in the boats, they'll be starting with us, and we'll want to be all ready, won't we?

Well as we can see from yesterdays catastrophe with TS-46 it is apparent that things can only get worse with our Maintenance Program. I guess you can go from Tire Changer to a Hydraulic and Foam Tank expert.

If this is the way the rats are going, that's good enough for me.

Left on a sinking ship was the A/C and three firefighters. The A/C spoke first. "Men, this business about an A/C going down with this ship is nonsense. There's a three-man life raft on board and I'm going to be on it.To see who will come with me,I will ask you each one question. The one who can't answer will stay behind. Here's the

first question:What unsinkable ship went down when it hit an iceberg ?" The first firefighter answered, "The Titanic,Sir."

"Second question: How many people perished?" The second firefighter said, "One thousand five hundred and seventeen,Sir"

"Now for the third question," and the A/C turned to firefighter number three."What were their names?"

The A/C in the titanic joke is a fictitious character, any similarities between this character and a real person is totally coincidental…..
