Overview

FEMS FOUND GUILTY OF:

Imposing more stringent application requirement for EMS than FIRE for entry in to the EMT-I class

Coercively interrogating member of Local 3721

Not providing 3721 with information requested

disparaging union leaders to union members

FEMS FOUND NOT GUILTY OF:

the whole cross over thing. (read above link for details)

issuing Special Order 32

Trying to undermine the union's abilty to represent members

OUTCOME

FEMS shall make equal requirments for FIRE and EMS for the EMT-I class

FEMS will refrain from coercively interrogating its employees

FEMS will provide 3721 with requested information that is reasonably related to the unions duties.

FEMS will apologize in wrtting for digrated the union leaders

One, two, three strikes your out at the old ball game... Now would you please accept the inevitable and help make this merger painless and workable. Stop standing in the way of your membership! As a whole not the exception let's get them real supervision, real benefits, retirement,wages and become one cause if you think that Labor didn't find merit in your arguement then imagine what a coherent DC Council (as a whole , not a few disgruntled ones) or the US Congress would think.

Can we now work together and make our system a model or are you gonna still go down kicking and screaming about the Fire Department Boogie Men...

I can not believe that you failed sensitivity 5 times. That was one of the most sensitive posts that you have ever made. ;) I only wish I could be that sensitive at oh dark 30 on a medical local for the headache :mad:

Cos is right, that last post should get you equivalency (sp?) for that class you've failed how many times now??
