At the Executive Board meeting on Monday, Mr. Sneed announced that he will be running for President during this upcoming election. He announced this so he could "dispell any rumors."
There is no way the membership will tolerate a retired union president.

Cos;
Ray said he was retiring to many a fellow fireman! But he is allowed to change his mind on any count that he wants! It is his life after all and he is living in America :D
KMA; such extreme anger are you ok my friend, seemed that those outbursts just spewed quickly...
As for Brian regardless what you, me or anyone else thinks of him he tries to do his best and always has done right by the Local and it's membership. He deserves our kudos for an over all nice job as a member of the Executive Board, Retirement Board and his committee work!.
My personal opinion "MOST" members of the Exec. Board are doing a good job that being said there are a few that do there own thing ie. some have "ultra" different ideas than that of the general membership, some do nothing but what is required, We all decide what is right, wrong or indifferent with our ballots.
Just a few thoughts
Damn hate to think these deep thoughts it hurts, would rather bitch moan and complain ;)

Dam loo I didnt know u and brian were so close.
Its a shity job but someone has 2 do it. most guys on the job are just glad its not them, what a shame. its a great experience and everyone should be involved in the union. houses with no rep, they have no voice (and dont care) guys bitch but dont come 2 the meetings, 2 worried about there part time job. what they need 2 do is decide witch is there real job. its not the board members job 2 get u what u think u deserve, its all members responsability 2 advise the board what we need then 2 assist the board in any way possible 2 obtain these needs as an entire membership. its a shame, the young guys on the job have no idea what its about. most of them get off in the morning and straight back 2 where they live or 2 there vollie house. not involved in this job much at all. just a pay check.
sorry, got carried away!
