Its a shame that Darrel is taking it so hard that because the chief is retiring he couldn't face reality that Charlie wouldn't be here any more to give him guidance and protection.

I think he snapped when he was informed that he was not going to be in charge here, and would not be running things, only the Prevention division, with limited supervision.

First off he is not in the Nut House

He is not seeing a Shrink

His Father is dying of Liver cancer so he is helping his Mother and taking his Dad for testing and Dr's visits.

He is not upset about not being in charge , in fact it is much better not having to Babysit 40 people only have 3 to watch.

I guess A/C Jackson didn't do enough for the guys because they act like he is some punk of the street instead of a 28 year Fire Service Veteran.

Hey firestrike, are nuts yet from working inside your windowless office/closet ?

Well to tell you the honest truth, no I am not nuts and probably never will be. I work 40 hours a week and I make twice as much money. I work on the 7th floor with all the newest office furniture on the market. I face Reagan National on one side and the NDWFD on the other. And them boys talk the talk but you know I don not see them going on many calls. Hell you guys catch more fire than these guys do. When I was still there I did not sleep well, I lived and worked under the graves and I looked like this.....

Now that I have recovered from my 17 year illness, and I finally work in a place with plenty of vitamin C shining through the windows, and I get to see some fine looking @ss throughout the day my attitude and appearance has changed drastically. The picture was taken last week for my new badge and you can finally see what getting out of that hole can do for you!

Someone recently said to me "Hey, what rock did you crawl out from under," I said "CNI."
