I was wondering if anyone has heard any updates about the recent openings at the Naval District DC. Have they hired anyone from that list and have they filled all their openings?
Hoping to find out some info.
Thanks

This guy got his KSAs & OF-612 of the Internet and got hired at West
Point
Name: Mathew Ko..........
New Job: GS-05 FIREFIGHTER
New Agency: West Point
Timing: 3 Mo
Past Job Title: TEMP FIREFIGHTER GETS PERMANENT POSITION
Firm or agency: West Point
Federal Job Search Story or Challenge:
"I was a temp firefighter for a year and a half. This meant that I would have to apply as a external canidate for any permanent postion. I wanted to make the top of the list for the job that opened at my place of employment. By using this company to make my KSA'S and my resume, I came back in the top three for the open postion. Number one and two on the list were veterans!... So by not including their veterans points or depending on their skills, I could of been number one on the list of eligible people by going thru this company. This was the best investment I have ever made. The results were fantastic and it landed me my permanent job!"
Tips for other Federal jobseekers:
If you want proven results..you might want to look into this company's work!

There are lots of people that use professionals to help write their resume. Don’t get jealous because someone is being resourceful in trying to get hired in the federal fire dept. If you want a job, then I suggest you do the same. It's not a big deal !!!!

You are missing the point. If you can't write your own KSAs, which are basic fire questions, how can you do the job? I am glad that I am not riding on a truck with the KSA's guy. If you have to buy KSA'S to become a Firefighter your are a POS !!!!!!!

 No, I believe you’re missing the point !! You can’t blame a guy for wanting to score higher, and use every available resource to help their gain. Just because he/she may not be able to express themselves verbally on paper doesn’t mean that they aren’t a good firefighter.

I think the point is what did he actually do. If he "stole" the KSA's and Resumix from another source and they are not a true reflection of his qualifications-then that is FRAUD and cause for dismissal. If all he did was get professional help in preparing a true and accurate statement of his qualifications so that the reume system picked out his application-then more power to him. The new systems are very specific to wording choice and format so if it is not written correctly, even if you are the best firefighter in the world-you won't be referred.

"using this company to make my KSA'S and my resume",
"Make my KSA's" Not Help, Not format.
