View Full Version : Members running for Local 36 positions

Hey Slim

just remember when u vote for each position to vote for someone u can TRUST and fight for the needs of all the membership.
Someone that will tell u the TRUTH not what u want to hear.
Someone that comes to the membership with there own ideas, not someone else's and claims to be there own.
These are some of the things that I look for in a canidate and I know all of you have your own. Talk to the canidates and listen, most of you know them you can tell if it's Bullshit or not.
all you new guys and the ones with little time on, talk to the guys that have been hear for awhile and listen to what they have to say. don't just take the canidates bullshit for the truth
Just want everyone to think about who your going to vote for before you mark that ballot.

My Endorsement:
Ray Sneed -President Has done a good job over the years

Steve Fennell -1st VP Works his ass off for the membership and I find to be vary truthful

Ken Cox 2nd -VP Enough said

Jimmy Cater -3rd VP Did a great job as sec. and has worked his ass off for the membership ever sence

Walter Webb- Sec. Has done an outstanding job as Sec.

John Pignataro-Treas. Will be a vast improvement over the current Treas.

These members had nothing to do with this post. These are my opinions only

Hound dog,

The contract is nice but there are other things on the job besides money. When u guys learn that, things will be alot better.

Slim, seems you have a rather short memory just how active where you when you sat on the board?? MIA at almost all meeting and trial boards hearings, seems your picks are about as worthless as you

Nice shot, I see that your one of the many friends I've made on the job! (whoever u are, stand in line)

I'll stand on my record at trial boards and the members I sat beside at that table, I think if we check the records, I was absent from 2 or 3 meetings in my 2 year term. The 10 years I represented 10 engine I believe I had as good attendence record as any other rep. I do remember being at the table for the contract process throughout my term (I remember it being a nice contract, about a 16% pay increase I believe). lets see the uniform comm., keeping track of vacancies so that the dept. did'nt screw anyone, meetings at bredhoff and kaiser before the trial boards. worked on putting together a draft for a drop program for the membership. did I do all of this alone? NO! Myself and the 5 other members of the board worked together to make these things and many more happen. Did I do as much as Ray, Brian, Kenny, Jimmy Carter or Ricky Moore? No! But I did everything asked of me and more.

But thats cool, your either one of the guys I did'nt pick.
or never got to open the line on a fire because either me or one of the guys I drove stepped on your neck and put it out for ya when I was at THE DIME (don't feel bad, your not the only one) :D :D

SEE YA AT THE NEXT MEETING! (unless it's on #2, again)
