I am in need of some information about an ex Chief of From DC named Mike Smith, whos planning to come to Clearwater fire Dept. I remember a while back there was info on the Watch Desk I believe was about him.

Phantom, since I seem to only be able to post on this thread, I'll ask you. Chief Smith was recently brought to my firehouse by our Chief of Dept. so Chief Smith could check out the guys. and vise versa, During the two plus hour long conversation, besides being convinced that he is gods gift to the fire service, he made some bold statments about how good he was and how he never had anyone under his command killed or injured on the job. If you know him, than you probably know how the conversation went. My questions are these, Is any of this true? and do you have the ability to re post any the posts from the past pertaining to him, I tried going through the archives but cant find them. I'm sure if he's hired I'll probably catch hell for this, but he came to check us out, and I want to check him out. I'm sure he probably has a lot to offer but I would like to know who we are dealing with. Thanks for any help you can give.
