Whats the latest on the entry level positions. Interviews, selections.... what is the rumor mill producing.

Update!! Rumor is that the interviews were completed and they couldn't fill all the open slots. I heard from a reliable source that only 1 guy from Maryland made the list, the rest were from out of state. Are there some rumors to this.

Sparky, Yes what you stated is pretty much right on. I know because I'm the guy from Maryland. And yes, they could only fill 3 slots! So now I'm not sure what the process is now,,, maybe they go off of the names that made the pulblic list. Good luck if your looking to get hired on, they can definately use the people.

you turned down a job as a career firefighter at APG. I really haven't heard of people turning that kind of job offer down. WHY

One of those greener fields on the other side of the fence deals going on for me. I already work as a career guy at Perry Point, and I'm proud to say that without me veterans and nursing staff would have to walk up to 30 yards to get from one building to the next.

Maybe you should give back some of your salary, if you think you are not doing enough work, or maybe you could switch shifts, I'll find a coat you can wear... :D

Hey, APG people, is it true that you guys have to go through the the A-76 process and compete for your jobs??...I heard this a couple of days back...JAKE :mad:
