Cranston Heights Fire Comapny - Station 14 recentley announced 1 open position - Not sure of the closing date. Might already be filled

Volunteer Hose of Middletown - Station 27 announced 1 Open Position earler this month I believe Closing for that one is December 23 but I'm not 100% Sure.

Alot of if not all the companies in NCC {Except Belvedere 30, and The Air-Guard 33 - No BLS Units} hire Part-Time Staff on a pretty consistiant basis.

Full Time Positions come up from time to time through-out the year....About 4-5 Job announcements a year are posted and others come about that never get announced - I got my full time spot through 'word of mouth'

If you are looking for EMS reciprocity you will need to go through either the Delaware State Fire Shool or Office of EMS for guidence in this process.

If your certification level is above BLS you may have some difficulty as ALS functions are performed by each County respectfully (not at the fire comapny level).

Where would you be relocating to??

good luck

I am a Paramedic, so everything is always difficult. Why should this be any different.

I am looking around the New Castle area. I am meeting with an agent this weekend, so I don't really know more specific than that.

I tried calling the Department of Health Services (or something like that) but they were out sick.

Thanks for the info.

You may find some help with this link below, hopefully it will be a step in the direction you are looking for.

The State OEMS number should be 302-739-4710 (found on some old paperwork).

Good luck with your search.

Try Cozer Chester Hosp. in Delaware County Pa.I always see new medic work on the medic units. The Hosp. is right off I95 and only 10 min. up the road from N.C.C.
