Does anyone know of any EMT-I training that is going to start soon in the Maryland area? Or does anyone know of any place to take EMT-P?
Thanks in advance

Might be a long drive depending on where you're located in MD. You might want to look at UMBC at the Medical Center. I know that they offer CCM, Critical Care Medic classes and I believe *though not 100% sure* that they also offer Registry Intermediate and Paramedic classes as well.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

To my knowledge, Carroll County is scheduled to have another EMT-I class sometime in the spring of 2005.

Anne Arundel CommunityCollege offers both EMT-I and EMT-P classes. I think that they both start in the fall semesters.

I'd doubt the Carroll County class anytime soon. Can't seem to find enough people to pass that pretest, or IVT it seems. Plus, the way things get pushed back in this county, I'd recommend going to a Community College and get your Paramedic. Don't waste 9 months of your time with the half assed EMT-I (I can only do so much) class. I have been there and done that. Believe me, it'll be worth it to just do the whole thing!

That is definitely some excellent advise from Medic 5. If you are gonna go that far, go all the way and get it over with. You will save time and be happier in the long run. :D

It is always worth it to go all the way. Never half ass things.
Unless you are a volunteer, you would have to go through a community college to get your education.
Depending on where you are located, Harrisburg Area Community College is a place where you can get your medic in 15 months or so. They have a program at their main campus that is Tuesday and Thursday evenings, or the Lancaster program is taught on Saturdays and like one Sunday a month. It isn't a bad program.
Just remember you get what you put into your program.

There is a class starting in Cecil County at the end of the month. If you are from Cecil ?
