Job Description
POSITION OPENING
Mashantucket Pequot Department of Fire and Rescue Services
Fire Protection Systems Specialist/ Firefighter
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
US Citizen
High School diploma or GED
Fire Fighter I Certification
WILL BE REQUIRED TO BECOME
E.P.A. Hazardous Materials Technician
Emergency Medical Technician
Minimum of 2 years field service experience in the installation of fire alarm and or fire sprinkler systems.
SUMMARY
The position involves regular preventative inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection systems and components in accordance with applicable codes, standards and insurance carrier requirements. Other duties include the repair and replacement of defective components. Responds to alarms as directed. Assists fire suppression forces as required.
