Originally posted by LTBCFDFCB Haven't been up there in a while, but isn't old Engine 43 still standing ? The old Salvage Corp station on Hanover Street is still there.
Yes, Old Engine 43's Station is still standing on Lyman & Bellona Avenues in Govanstown. I know that for a fact because I live about two mintues away from there and I must go by there at least once a week.
E-25 is at McCulloh and Gold Sts.
E-38 is in the 700 blk. of W. Baltimore St.
Old E-40 is Liberty Hghts. and Ferndale Aves.
Old E-42 is in 3900 Blk. Southern Ave.
Old E-43 is 414 Lyman Ave., off Bellona Ave.
Old E-54 is 4000 blk. of White Ave.
Old T-14 is current site of E-42 - Harford Rd. And Markley Ave.
Chemical engine 2 (i think it was 2) was on Brunswick St. on the corner of Frederick Ave. with Truck 8. The city annexed the property from the county in 1888.
Did Truck 9 ever have its own quarters at all before moving in with Engine 21 in Hampden on Roland Avenue? If it did, where was it located? The Roland Avenue Station had to be Truck 9 second quarters, because it was built in 1897 and I believe that Truck Co. 9 went into service in 1888.
