Jarett Dixon passed away today. No details have been provided on the arrangements. Jarett was a friend of the volunteers (long time member of Co. 460) and a proud uniformed employee of the BCoFD (Station 5 last assignment, I believe).
To Jarett's family, significant other, and close friends, I wish you well in this time of sorrow. So long Jarett, rest in peace.

One of the nicer men in the department I came across. We know two things about heaven now: they are gonna get there fast and eat very well now. Thoughts and prayers to family, friends, and co-workers as well.
What he lacked in size he more than made up with personality. A great loss to the fire department. A chilling reminder to all to enjoy life each day and treat others as you would want them to treat you. Seems to be the way FADO Dixon lived his life. Rest in peace ..
Thank you for your kind words during this trying time, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we prepare for the days to come.
A heartfelt thank you to Station 5 for welcoming me into their fold as they did Jarrett...and to Station 46 for their overwhelming support...FADO Dixon will surely be missed!!
On behalf of his family and myself....thank you again for all of your support.
Jarrett had a true love of the department and often spoke or wrote about his concerns. Never at a loss for words, but always had a smile...always. The bottom line is, that he cared a great deal...and he will be missed!!!
I'm sure I probably ran into him a time or two, but I wish I knew who he was when I did. I could always count on his posts to be insightful and informative, which is a refresher on here. Thanks for your service Jarrett, you will be missed.
Jarrett was one of my instructors in the academy. The man was tough, but he was one of the first to formally welcome me to the department when I graduated. After working with him in the field, I can say that he was extremely dedicated to his job and I think that I can echo the aforementioned thoughts on how much he loved the dept.. The man was also one hell of a chef. May God be with the crews at Sta.5,Sta.460 and his family during this time. RIP JD.
JD, I am going to miss your boisterous laugh & never ending smile. The FD lost an invaluable member. If everyone had your touch, the world will be a nicer place. Godspeed, my brother.

Jarrett and I Met in the mid 80's, grew up hanging out as teenagers, we entered the volunteer;s together. Jarrett at 46 myself at 31 and now 40 and grew apart as adults. The thing about Jarrett is all along he was basicly the same. Any time we would cross paths either personaly or on the fire ground it was like I had just seen him yesterday. I will miss the freindship we had RIP Jarrett. To his family if you guys need any thing PM me Call me thru Station 40/ Tony Altomonte
