Pete Piringer the PIO from Montg Co Fire will be leaving Montg to come to DCFD as another PIO officer starting July 5 2009, Etter and the other 2 OR 3 PIO Officers and Crosswhite will still be there.
HOW MANY PIO's DOES RUBIN NEED ? MAYBE 1 FOR EACH DAY OF THE WEEK
also the videos that Rubin is putting on YOU-TUBE is costing a several $100.00'S a video to make. HOW IS PAYING FOR THIS ?
Finding money, it's all pretty easy, let say cut property, or apparatus division budget, and transfer the money to his budget.

I read that Pete was leaving MoCo, but I have not spoken with him. Consequently, my response is based on the information contained in the first post of this thread, so take it with a grain of salt until it is confirmed.
I've known Pete for more than 35 years. He is a consummate professional, and would be an asset to any organization. He and Alan Etter would be an outstanding PIO tandem, and would represent the agency in a very professional way.
If that were to happen, and the rest of the office disappeared, I think it would be a very positive development. If Pete is just an addition to the grossly bloated office, then it is just another in a very long line of needless expenditures by the current administration.
Which do you think is more likely?

John, I agree with you the tandem would be great for us, but I don't expect to see either one of them to often as we all know how the Chief loves the camera.
